Porter Novelli Names Five Partners
Executives Selected are Leaders in New York and Washington, D.C. Offices
NEW YORK - Porter Novelli announced the selection of five new partners in its U.S. offices. They are Liz Fitzgerald, managing director, PN2, Washington, D.C.; Jon Goldberg, corporate practice leader, New York; Jason Teitler, agency marketing and sports marketing leader, New York; Carolyn Tieger, U.S. public affairs practice leader, Washington, D.C.; and David Zucker, director of PN CauseWorks, New York. All five join the agency's senior-most leadership team.
"Our new partners all have long-standing, distinguished track records of providing outstanding service and leadership to their teams, clients and the agency," said Gary Stockman, CEO, Americas, for Porter Novelli. "Their selection as partners is indicative of both their past contributions to Porter Novelli's success and to the critical role they will play in the agency's future."
Partner selection at Porter Novelli is based upon a candidate's performance and leadership, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff and clients. Following is brief background on the new partners:
Liz FitzGerald has led the development of PN2, a creative/advertising/interactive/broadcast production and design "shop within a shop" for the agency. As managing director, she has developed creative communications campaigns for Porter Novelli as well as many clients within the agency's practice areas. Recent work includes programs for the Alzheimer's Association, Almond Board of California, National Cancer Institute, CDC, USDA and HHS. She also brings a strategic approach and creative energy to many of the agency's new business opportunities.
Jon Goldberg brings more than 20 years of communications experience to Porter Novelli in corporate reputation management and business-to-business marketing. As head of Porter Novelli's New York corporate affairs practice, Goldberg and his team work with such blue-chip clients as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Dow Chemical, Timberland, Penske and Wyeth. A specialist in crisis, litigation and risk communications, he also works across multiple Porter Novelli practices and regions advising corporations, non-profits and major law firms on communications strategies in connection with high-profile business and regulatory issues and legal disputes.
Jason Teitler serves as head of agency marketing and drives Porter Novelli's sports and interactive marketing specialties. He works with the agency's leadership to market the agency to stakeholders and for the past eight years, Teitler has run the agency's global interactive marketing specialty, which provides consultation and development services for communications programs that involve the Internet and other digital mechanisms. Most recently Teitler developed the company's sports marketing specialty.
Carolyn Tieger, director of the agency's public affairs practice, is one of the top communications strategists in the country, especially on tough legislative issues, corporate and industry crises, issue management and litigation communications. She brings more than 25 years of public and private sector experience to the agency and is helping build one of the most respected and dynamic public affairs practices in the business.
David Zucker is an industry-recognized leader in corporate social responsibility, cause-related marketing and nonprofit marketing. Zucker has provided consultation to a variety of corporate clients including Proctor and Gamble, Timberland, Dupont, Gillette, Dannon, and Wyeth. His nonprofit client experience includes the American Legacy Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
